Teterot Salon Cheollic One Piece (Violet Perfume)

24 - 27 SEP

28 SEP - 9 OCT

We're bringing hanbok back to you this Mid Autumn festival!

This time, we specially curated modern hanbok from Teterot Salon, which you can sport for daily wears too!
Designs from Teterot Salon have also been featured in the Korean TV series, Mystic Pop-up Bar as worn by Hwang Jung Eum!

We immediately fell in love when we first came across these modern hanboks by Teterot Salon. With this great interest in mind, we contacted the HQ and curated the best designs for summer season fittings for our Ksisterfam!

Due to the end of summer season in Korea, we are only able to source for limited designs, which we love. If this collection is well-received, we will definitely look into bringing even more pieces from Teterot Salon in the future!

Teterot Salon is a premium modern hanbok brand and the exquisite hanbok pieces are usually priced from $250 to $300, similar to the quality modern cheongsam brands in Singapore.

For this new launch, as a special promotion, the prices have been lowered compared to the Korean prices. Please kindly note that from the next collection onwards, prices will resume as the original Korea pricing.

What's a Hanbok?

A hanbok (in South Korean) refers to a traditional Korean clothing or dress that is worn for semi-formal or formal attire during traditional occasions like festivals, celebrations and ceremonies. It is also typically characterised by vibrant colours and simple lines without pockets.

Hanboks were first used back in the Goguryo dynasty (around 3BCE) where most people were nomadic. As such, they were designed with wide bottom dress and comfortable top to ensure easier movement!

With traditional Korean hanbok evolving over the years, hanboks aren't what they used to be in the current 21st century. The modern version are designed with a twist to ensure individuals are able to incorporate it with their casual clothing like sneakers, jeans, jumpers and more.

About Teteron Salon

The South Korean casual hanbok label, Teterot Salon is known for its modern take on these hanbok while retaining some traditional elements within, for example, the top or dress is still being worn traditionally by placing its left front fabric on top of its right part (refer to HOW TO WEAR below).

Teterot Salon aims to diversify itself through bringing new experience to everyday fashion amongst stylist and adventurous trendsetters, through her designs that are combined with a mix of traditional and modern elements. This makes these modern hanboks suitable for any occasion, from parties, weddings to everyday wear!

Introducing Teterot Salon's Cheollic One Piece in Violet Perfume! Turn the spotlight on you with this classic A-line piece designed with bell sleeves and a modest V-neckline.

This classic A-line dress features its "Violet Perfume" prints, which incorporates lavender and blue coloured florals along with green foliage. Designed with adjustable bodice with a flare skirt fit that swishes when you walk. Please adjust the strap inside the dress according to your preferred tightness.

What else do we love about it?

Other than its feminine floral prints, which reminds us of an English garden, we're definitely loving its bell sleeves! Wider sleeves means that there is better ventilation. Even if the weather changes, you’ll still get more air up those sleeves.

Not to forget, with a slightly flared out dress fit, it means it is flattering generally on all body types. It can also help you to achieve to give an elusion of longer legs! This comes with an inner lining so you don't have to worry about it being sheer. It also does not come with any pocket.

To dress it up, pair it up with your favourite pair of heels! Do note that this requires dry cleaning so be sure NOT to include it in your pile of laundry!
